Aurelius Ploutarchos also called Ammonios, ex-gymnasiarch, senator of the glorious and most glorious city of Oxyrhynchus, has leased to Aurelius Kopres, son of Papontos and Theonis, from the same city, bearer of the busts of our lord Probus Augustus and his Victory in the processions, for only the present 8th year, of his property near Ision Panga, the [. . .] arourai, fixed by survey, located to the east of the holding of Nepos in the topos called Peklbth, in two plots: these to be planted in flax, at a rent of 1,600 drachmai per aroura. The lease is guaranteed, and the rent is free of all risk. The public dues on the land are to be paid by the landlord, who is to own the crops till he has received his rent. The lessee is obliged to pay the rent in the month of Epeiph of the present 8th year without delay, the right of execution resting against the lessee and all his belongings, as is proper. This lease, concerning which the lessee was asked the formal question and so declared, is valid.
