Nikomedes, son of Phanias who is also called Phanesis, about 27 years old, with a scar in the middle of his forehead, has leased to Apollonios, son of Herakles, about 32 years old, with a scar above the right shin, the 3 arourai of the estate of the Emperor Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus which he farms near Tebtynis, for sowing in clover as pasture for sheep; and the catoecic allotment of 2 arourai which he holds near Kerkesoucha Orous for sowing, cutting, and drying grass, for the coming 3rd year (of the Emperor Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Germanicus). Apollonios is to supply himself with seed and perform all the operations, and he (Nikomedes) has received the rental and guarantees the agreement.;Signatory: Ptolemaios, son of Chairemon, about 72 years old, with a scar above the left elbow.;The rest in conformity.
