Résumé: Phoebe A. Hearst Museum of Anthropology, University of California at Berkeley. Wooden tablet (written on both sides) found in Tebtunis (Cemetery VIII, presumably the Roman cemetery) by B.P. GRENFELL and A.S. HUNT in the excavation campaign of 1899 and 1900. Side A: model (exhortation to write in a beautiful hand) written by the teacher and copied underneath by one student five times. Side B: maxim copied ten times by a different student. II-III century A.D.
