Introduction
Hp. Epid. 3.1.9-12. Fragment (11.1 x 12.2 cm) of a papyrus roll containing on the recto remains of two columns of writing (verso is blank). The lower margin survives to a length of 4.4 cm; the intercolumniation is ca. 2 cm wide. A diple marks the beginning of a new section (Hp. Epid. 3.1.12) at col. II, l. 7; the purpose of the horizontal stroke in the right margin at col. II, l. 11 is unclear. The fragment preserves significant portions of Hp. Epid. 3.1.9-12: the relationship between the papyrus and the indirect tradition of Gal. In Hipp. Epid. III comment. CMG 5.10.2, 95ff. Wenkebach is of some importance, exhibiting a good number of correct readings as against the medieval manuscripts (e.g. col. I: [ἀ]ποφθο[ρῆς] [ll. 5-6], [ἀσώδης] [l. 9]; col. II: ἀγορῇ [l. 9]; see Roselli 2008, 145, 147-8). The script is a rightward-sloping majuscule assignable to the end of the 3rd cent. AD.

οὐκ ἔτι V [apud Roselli 2008] οὐδὲν GalLC. Reasons of space suggest the first reading.
- 9.
That ἀσώδης (GalLC : om. V recc.) stood in the papyrus is likely since without it the line is of rather shorter than average length.
