Sheep 109, goats 3. To Chaereas, the strategos from Taarchorsia. [l. 5] . . . I am registering for the current 7th year of Tiberius Caesar Augustus the 109 sheep and [l. 10] 3 goats that belong to me. Total: 109 goats, 3 sheep, and the lambs and kids that are their offspring, which will be herded by Pela towards the western [l. 15] toparchy and throughout the entire pasture by the shepherd Petseiris, son of Petseiris, who is registered as residing by Sesphtha of the lower toparchy, and on these flocks [l. 20] I will also pay the tax that is due. ____ Farewell. I, toparch Sarapion, have registered one hundred [l. 25] nine sheep, three goats, totals 109 sheep, 3 goats. The 7th year of Tiberius Caesar Augustus, Tybi the 30th.
