APIS Translation (English)

Year 4, account for Melas. For (survey) according to crops, 1 talent. For sundries, 1000 (drachmas) For the conveyance of one seven-arouras (plot) 1000 dr., of one twenty-arouras (plot) 2000 (dr.), total for conveyance 3000. For the business of another seven-arouras (plot) 1000 bronze drachmas total in bronze 1 talent 5000 dr. Of which he has on Mecheir 25th, for Marsyas the scribe of the Topogrammateus 300, for Melas alike 870 dr. To Sokmenis, keeper of the sacred ibis, 1100, Mecheir 1st �? In Krokodilon polis 8 silver drachmas, 3500, through Horos the brother 8 (silver drachmas) 3500 total in bronze 1 talent 3270 dr. Remainder 1730 bronze dr.
