            <ab>To Ptolemaios, chief of the body-guard and strategos, from Diodotos and Hesiodos and Argaios, Thracians, inhabiting Berenikis Thesmophorou. We presented to you a petition in the 6th year against N.N. because of his design perforce to build over the unoccupied plot at the said village bequeathed by our father for us to inhabit; this the people of Diodotos observed and sent a notification to Aristodemos, who was posted on the spot, so that he might order the accused to present himself before you.
