Summary | Marriage contract between Hor son of Psemminis and Ermous daughter of Ermous. The contract lays out the terms of the dowry and the right of the eldest child produced by the marriage to an inheritance. The dowry is set at "4 kite, equalling 2 staters, equalling silver money, 4 kite again as your bridal gift." The contract also delineates what remains her bridal property. Should divorce occur the husband is obligated to pay to his wife 5 deben, equalling 25 staters. |
