Κρίτων Ζήνωνι χαίρειν. ἐπειδὴ Πολέμων ὁ παρʼ ἡμ[ῶν]
μετάγει τὴν τῆς μητρὸς ἀδελφὴν εἰς Φιλαδέλφε[ιαν],
ἠξίωκέμ(*) με γράψαι [σοι] ὅπω[ς συ]ναγορασθῶσιν αὐτῶι διὰ σ̣ο̣ῦ̣
πυρῶν (ἀρτάβαι) ρ, ὅπως ἔχη[ι] ε̣ἰ̣[ς] δ̣ιατροφὴν τῆς οἰκίας.
5εὐχαριστήσεις οὖμ(*) μοι σ̣υ̣ν̣α̣γ̣ο̣ρ̣άσας αὐτῶι ὡς λυσιτελέστατ[α].
ὡς δʼ ἂν συναγοράσηις, ⟦  ̣  ̣  ̣  ̣⟧
⟦  ̣  ̣  ̣  ̣⟧ ἐπίστειλο̣ν̣ ἡ̣μῖν τε καὶ τῶι Πολέμωνι,

As our employee Polemon is transferring his mother's sister to Philadelphia, he has asked me to write to you to have a hundred artabai of wheat bought for him, in order that he may have a supply to feed the household. You will do me a favour then by buying it for him as advantageously as possible. And as soon as you buy it, [[- - -]] write to us and to Polemon, in order that we may know and may get the price from him and send it to you. Farewell.
