Summary The register on this side of the papyrus presents a summary account of all land in the Oxyrhynchite nome devoted to the cultivation of wheat and a short statement of the fiscal revenues due from them.

Condition This medium brown papyrus is broken on all sides, and a smaller (blank) fragment has been separated to the right. Heavily abraded, especially in the center and along the edges of the sheet, although the text itself has largely remained undamaged.

Hands Text written in an official semicursive which may be assigned to the third century A.D. The writing occupies a space of approximately 8 cm. in breadth. Free margins remain at the left (approximately 3 cm.), at the top (approx. 2.5 cm.); the margin (excl. the blank fragment) varies at the right, from 0 to 3 cm. At the end of a line, horizontal strokes are often extended to comply with a margin of 0.5 cm. (TC).
