IV, abstract 7 records an acknowledgment of receipt of a deposit of 700 drachmai, placed by a woman at the disposal to her husband; this debt is said to be distinct and separate from his obligations toward her arising from an alimentary contract drawn up between them 20 years previously, probably at the time of their marriage; the acknowledgment of receipt was registered on May 22, 42 A.D.
