Hands Protocol on recto (containing the address), illegible. Both sides of the document had been used previously, then erased for the present text, the verso upside down, as shown by inverted Christian in lower right-hand corner. Underlying text illegible. The hand is similar to Stegemann, Taf. 22, col. 3 of 952/3 and other columns, but also Taf. 16, col. 2 of 813 A.D.

"I am Viktor the son of Matthew, the man of Sou (?) of the district of Eshmounain, writing to Apa Enoch, the monk of the (monastery ?) of Apa Apollo: I owe you thirty - that which is determined by (?) your measure. These then I am ready to . . . . . . to you in the yield of the twelfth year of the indiction, without any ambiguity. I, Viktor the son of Matthew, agree to this document. I, Pyew, the son of Papre, I do become his surety. I, Serenos the son of Viktor, and I Pakob the son of George, we are witnesses to this document. I, Paul the son of Joseph, I have written (it). Written in the month of Choiak, 15th (day), 12th year of the indiction.;(Verso): "Executed document of Viktor the son of Matthew (of the) village (of) Sou (?) . . . . . . . "
