Summary The text is an instruction to pay Papo(), the manager of the epoikion of Heraklas, his salary for the month of Epeiph. His monthly salary is 24 drachmas, but he is paid only 12 drachmas because he is still in debt to the Theones, and his salary is reduced by half to discharge his debt.

APIS Translation (English)

"Year 21, the 23rd Epeiph. (Give) from the account of Julius Theon and Julius Theon, alias to Papo(), manager of the epoikion of Heraklas, as salary for Epeiph 24 drachmas. (2nd hd.) Give the 24 drachmas. (3rd hd.) And reduce the amount, toward payment of his debt, by 12 drachmas."
