Support/Dimensions | 1 papyrus ; 11.8 x 7.6 cm. |
Condition | Dark brown papyrus in bad condition; broken off at the left, right and bottom. Regularly cut at the top. The papyrus was horizontally folded three times. The text is partially rubbed in many parts on recto. A layer of mud is on the middle of the papyrus of verso. Fibers are misaligned and removed in several parts. |
Lines | Recto: 5;Verso: 5 |
Recto/Verso | Source of description: Recto + Verso |
Hands | Text on recto is partially rubbed; written along the fibers in small sized cursive with ligatures. From the preserved text it seems that the hand is practiced. No diacritical marks are attested. Text on verso is written in different hand; the scribe, who is practiced, rotated the papyrus 90 degrees to write along the fibers. The letters are large cursive and ligatured. Some letters are bolder than the others as a result of dipping the pen into the ink. The scribe ends lines by extending the final letter with horizontal stroke. |
