5 (Tilgung) Ich, Aphrodeisios, habe das Saagut erhalten, wie oben erwähnt.
6 Ich, Hôriôn alias Chairêmôn, habe für ihn als Analphabeten geschrieben.
7 Im 20. Jahr, am 26. Hathyr.
8 (2. Hand) Ich, Hôrigenês, habe abgezeichnet für acht Artaben Weizen.

1 To the sitologoi of the village of Karanis, greetings. I have received from you as a loan of seed grain of the present year 20 from the harvest of the past year 19 from the 83 cleruchy, Aphrodeisios, son of Herakleides, at Kerkesoucha for 8 arouras of royal (land) 8 artabas of wheat.
5 (Deletion) I, Aphrodeisios, have received the seed reserves, as mentioned above.
