φοβουμένῳ κἂν τὸ λεγόμενον
[το]ῦτο σκιὰν ἴδῃ φαντασίας,
5πρὸς δὲ τούτοις μήπω διεφθαρ-
μένῳ τὴν διάνοιαν ὑπὸ σοφισ-
τικῆς κακίας, φανῆται ἂν τὰ μὲν
συνηγοροῦντα τῶν εἰρημένων
τοῖς περὶ τῆς ἡδονῆς λεγομένοις ἔχον-
10τά τι πραγματικὸν καὶ δικαιολο-
γικὸν καὶ ἐμβριθές, τὰ δ' ἐξ ἐναν-
τίας αὐτοῖς λεγόμενα γλίσχρα
καὶ μειρακιώδη καὶ κοῦφα [πα]ν-
