Introduction
Two different scribal hands are distinguishable for the diacritics, one who marked strokes in the margin and dots after verse, and the other who put in reading marks and quantity symbols.

there is an oblique and meaningless stroke between the omicron and nu in καταπτώσσοντες

There are quantity marks over φίλως. There is a short syllable mark over the lambda and a long syllable mark over the omega and sigma. There is a stroke marking the separation of words at the end of φίλως.

Slanting stroke in the margin corresponds to the change of speaker in the text.
- 11.
The slanting stroke at the beginning of the line corresponds to the change of speaker in the text. Although the beginning of later lines are cut off, similar strokes were likely also added before verses 356-58 and 364.

There are marks indicating the separation of words at the end of δὴ and the end of φῂς.
- 15.
There is a vertical line after the second omicron in Τηλεμάχοιο that rises above other letters. There is a second vertical ink trace underneath and a dot below. The editor believes that this could be the twice-failed beginning of the phi.
- 18.
All manuscripts have this verse beginning with ὡς γνῶ however the traces of last letter in the lacuna according to the editor resembles an epsilon and not an omega. Thus the lacuna would have contained a verbal form (3rd pers. sing. ind. aor. or imperf.) that is either one long or two short syllables.

There is a mark indicating the separation of words at the end of φρονέεις.
