Source of description: Recto + Verso |
Of the six fragments as at present inuted, the first three, one from Chapter 11 and
two from Chapters 28-29, show that the text on the recto preceds that on the verso,
while the last three, Chapters 30 to 32, reverse the order. Below the text on fr.
D there was found a tiny bit of papyrus firmly stuck on, having on the upper side
the uncial H following remnants of an illegible letter, below which in semicursive
]theisa[. The verso is blank. This may be a bit of marginal note on the bottom of
the page which preceded this fragment in the manuscript, or it may be a foreign bit
of papyrus. The writing is a small delicate without shading of vertical strokes or
other ornamental additions usual in the IIrd and IVth centuries. Note the prolonged
middle stroke of epsilon, the enlarged omicron and the use of ornamental line fillers
