Note (general) | Ostracon, fragment (one of two now joined) of the body of a pottery vessel, the fabric is grey in section, the interior is thickly caked with a black-brown resinous deposit, the exterior is elaborated with a bands of polychrome painted decoration and remains of three lines of Coptic text written in black ink, containing possible liturgy. |
