Introduction
Prescription. The papyrus scrap (7 x 5 cm), written on the recto along the fibers, probably belongs to a roll and preserves part of the upper margin and remains of 5 lines. The verso is blank. The medical text is concerned with a remedy against polyps, whose title partly survives in line 1. It is written in an upright, rounded script characterized by the ε realized in a single flourishing of the pen and a few ligatures; according to palaeography, the fragment could be dated to the late 2nd c. AD.
