Introduction
Medical prescriptions (MPER XIII 7). Papyrus sheet (10.6 x 7.5 cm) fairly regularly cut off on all sides, except for the left margin, which is partly damaged. The verso preserves a recipe for the preparation of a tooth powder (see Orib., Syn ., 3.172 [CMG 6.3, 109.8-10 Raed.], 178 [CMG 6.3, 109.6-8 Raed.], 5.25 [CMG 6.3, 163.12-9 Raed.]); on the recto, a documentary text from Hermoupolis (= SB XVI 12244 ). The script is a documentary hand assignable to the 4th cent. AD.

This is the first attestation of the word ἄβρωτος on papyrus. "Contraraiment à H.-S. [= Harrauer-Sijpesteijn 1981 = MPER 13.7] et à D.R. Jordan [= Jordan 1982 ], nous estimons que l'adj. ἄβρωτος ne signifie pas 'non attaqué par une carie', ma qu'il decrit l'effet non abrasif de la poudre sur les dents (comparer la recette de Galien, Comp.med.sec.loc. 5.4 [12, 889.7-9 K])" ( Marganne 1983 , 250).
