Introduction

Medical prose. Fragment (7 x 3 cm) from a codex page broken on all sides. The verso preserves scanty remains of nine lines of indiscernible text, while on the recto just a few letters and ink traces survive. The occurrence of the terms [τ]ὰ κοιλὰ and [σ]τόματι may reveal something about the medical nature of the text. The script is a semi-skilled and semi-cursive hand, dating back to the 5th-6th cent. AD.
