Notes

  • 1.

Preisendanz supplements δόξα at the very beginning of the first line, on analogy with PSI 6.719.5. It is unclear whether a line has gone missing at the very top of the papyrus, but it is doubtful. Preisendanz's reading of πν]ε̣[ύματι is impossible; it apparently stems from a typographical mistake in P.Lond. Lit. 231, which prints [πνε̣ύματι] in the lacuna at the end of the line.
