APIS Translation (English)

Paniskos to Aion, his brother, many [greetings]. Before all else I pray before the lord god to receive you in good health. I wish you to know that, god willing, we are in good health. And I enjoin you, my lord brother, attend to my daughter; and if she has need of anything give it to her . . . impose your commands on her even if she contradicts you; write in reply to me also about Serenus, if he does well and attends to the flocks. Take serious thought(?) of other [. . . ] both at home(?) [and abroad . . .] you will do [well . . .] and I repay(?) . . . and I . . . for you and our brother Pasoeis <or: Asoeis?>, and - do not neglect it - write to me about your health. I salute Ata with her children, and Cornelius with his children and his wife, and Ouenaphris(?) with his children and his wife, and my mother, and Annilla [. . .] I send many salutations [to . . .] and Heliodora [. . .];(Continued in left margin:) and to Paesis and Apia and their(?) children. I pray for your welfare. Pharmouthi [. .]
