Antonius Heronianus, cavalryman of the First cohort of the Lusitani(?), centuria(?) Mariana, to Iulius Serenus [- - -], cavalryman [of the same cohort], faithful greeting. [I acknowledge that I] have received and owe (you) seventy(?) silver denarii, which I shall give back after receiving my pay, with the interests, to you or to your agent or heir. Made in the garrison of Net[- - -], in the detachment of the aforementioned cohort, 6 days before the Ides of August, [under the consulship of the Emperor Antoninus] Augustus Pius, for the third time, and of Aurelius Caesar, [son of] Augustus [(Antoninus) Pius].;(2nd hand, in Greek) I, Antonius Heronianus, [have received] the 70(?) [silver denarii] as a loan and shall give them back [as aforesaid].
