Regarding N, Heilporn's solution (N( )) seems suitable, though presumably he meant (|N|). Vote - ReturnToSender - Accept (I'm hitting Return only to have a 3rd voter's opinion). Looking at the picture, I could even think of removing the supraline in lines 2, 4 and 7 (though it's probably best to follow the editor here); this, with the note in the intro (see Sosin's comments), suggests to me we should write "(N( )) <#I=1#>" etc. I don't see how we could enter the editor's suggestion that this N( ) could stand for (a Latinized version of?) νόμαιος. Vote - AcceptText - Accept. Confirmed on plate: right to omit overstroke in lin5.
