Ἀπολλώνιος Ζήνωνι χαίρειν. ἀπεστάλκαμεν πρὸς σὲ Μίδαν
τὸν ἡμιονηγόν. χρῶ οὖν ⟦Traces⟧ αὐτῶι \πρὸς/ τοῖς(*) ἡμιόνοις(*)
καὶ σύνταξον τὴν ἐπιμέλειαν αὐτῶν ποιεῖσθαι. δίδου δʼ αὐτῶι
τό τε ὀψώνιον καὶ τὸ σιτάριον τὸ συντεταγμένον εὐτάκτως.
5τὸν μὲγ(*) γὰρ ἱματισμὸν \ἀπέχει/ παρʼ ἡμῶν καὶ τὸ ὀψώνιον κεκόμισται ἕως τοῦ
Δίου μηνός.

Apollonios to Zenon, greeting. I have sent Midas, the muleteer, to you. Make use of him, therefore, in connection with the mules and order him to take over the care of them. Give him the fixed wages and food allowance punctually. For he has obtained his clothing allowance from me and has received his wages UP to the month Dios. Good-by. Year 30, Dios 11, Hathyr 1.
