HGV 10845 Translation (English) [xml]

1  To Socrates and Didymus also called Tyrannus, 2  scribes of the metropolis, 3  from Ischyras, son of Protas, son of Mysthes, 4  his mother being Tasoucharion, daughter of Didas, of the quarter 5  Hermuthiace, and from his wife 6  Thaisarion, daughter of Ammonius, son of 7  Mysthes, her mother being Thaisas, of the same 8  quarter Hermuthiace. We give notice 9  of the son who has been born to us, 10  Ischyras, aged one year in the present fourteenth year of Antoninus 11  Caesar the lord. I therefore hand in this 12  announcement of the birth. 13  (Signed) Ischyras, aged 44, having no distinguishing mark. 14  Thaisarion, aged 24, having no distinguishing mark. 15  Written for them by Ammonius, scribe of the nome.
