Φιλάδελφος καὶ Διόσκορος χαίρειν̣.
ἐκομισάμεθά(*) σου γράμματα δι(ὰ) Ἰ(*)σιδώρου
ὀρεοφύλακος κώμης Φιλαδελφίας
5ὥστε δηλῶσα[ί] σοι τὸν λόγον τὸν ἀπὸ κα ἕως
τῆς κζ τί ἐστιν ἃ παρε[ι]λήφαμεν̣ ⟦κ̣⟧ ἀ-
φʼ ἑκάστης κώμης. τὸν μὲν λόγον συν-
ποιήσαντες ἀπεστίλαμε̣ν(*) δι(ὰ) δημοσίου

To my lord Heron, strategos, Philadelphos and Dioskoros send greeting.;We received your letter by Isidoros the oreophylax of the village of Philadelphia, (requesting) us to show you the account from the 21st to the 27th, what we collected from each village. We got the account together and sent it by an official of your office. When you sent the oreophylax to us . . . with your . . . he asked us for the copy; and we wrote in reply that we had drawn up the account and sent it.;(2nd hand) We pray for your health, my lord
