APIS Translation (English)

[- - -] two solidi, total 2 sol. in sum free from any danger which I will necessarily give back to you whenever you want it, without any delay or pretext, while you shall have the right of action upon me and upon all my property. This document of loan written as a single copy is valid and to the formal question I have given my consent. I, Aurelius Mena, son of Silvanus, the aforementioned, have now received the two gold solidi in sum as a loan and I will give it back whenever you want it as above mentioned. I, Aurelius Eulogios, son of Silvanus, have written for him being illiterate.;(2nd hand) . . . (Cross)
