Chairemon to Serapion [. . . greeting]. Before all else I pray that you be well, and I make your obeisance before the lord Sarapis daily. I want you to know that . . . you have sent me no word from the day that I came to Alexandria. If then you love me, do not neglect to write to me. I salute . . . Sarapias and her children. Pasoxis(?) the carpenter salutes you and your children and . . . his wife . . . .;;(Verso) Deliver to Sarapion from Chairemon.
