(Translation: from P.Oxy. 12) Aurelius Macrobius, lessee of the administration of alum, through me, Caesarius, clerk, to Aurelius Isaac, agent, greeting. I have sent you one Italian pound of alum through Isidorus, and 2 ounces, 8 carats of nasturtium-powder. The 16th, 15th, and 8th year, Tubi 28.
