ἐπιστάτηι φυλακιτῶν
παρὰ Ἁρθώτου τοῦ Μαρρείους
τῶν ἀπὸ Θεαδελφείας δημο-
5σίων γεωργῶν. τῆι νυκτὶ τῆι
φερούσηι εἰς τὴν ιη τοῦ Φαρμοῦ(θι)
τοῦ μβ (ἔτους) Καίσαρος ἐπιβαλόν-
τες οἱ τῆς κώμης ποιμένες
εἰς τὰς ὑπʼ ἐμοῦ γεωργου-
10μένας βασιλικῆς γῆς
κατενέμησάν μου χόρ-
του ἡμιαρούριον. διὸ ἀξιῶι(*)
ἐὰν φαίνηιται(*) κατα-
σταθῆναι τοὺς ἐγκαλου-
15μένους ἐπὶ σὲ πρὸς τὴν

APIS Translation (English)
To Quintus Pacillius Euxinus, chief of the police, from Harthotes, son of Marreis, one of the tenants of the state land from [l. 5] Theadelphia. On the night leading up to the 18th of Pharmouthi, in the 42nd year of Caesar, shepherds from the village, having assaulted the [l. 10] royal land that is farmed by me, destroyed half an aroura of hay. I request, therefore, if it seems right, that you have the accused [l. 15] brought to you for future proceedings. Farewell.
