APIS Translation (English)
[recto] Nemesion to Dionysios his brother, greetings. Instruct the farmer in the matter of the work. Fertilize the soil with manure [l. 5] every day. If you need oxen-teams, we ask that you yourself go sometime to Pesthos for the oxen. If he asks [l. 10] for money, pay him before he sails down . . . They (the oxen) should be tied there until you take them over . . . [l. 15] Be well. The 3rd year of Gaius Caesar Augustus Germanicus, 23 of Mesore. [verso] To Dionysios.
