APIS Translation (English)

[verso] Besas the goldsmith sends many greeting to Eidos. I pay my respect to you and your children. Fetch [l. 5] the body of my father and keep it safe until I sail back, God willing, to the funeral. You will make a gift in friendly fashion. You are not again neglectful of the property. You will bury the body [l. 10] on another day. I pray for your health. [recto] To Eidos from Besas the goldsmith.
