does not state this in his note, but the reading "22" makes this certificate consistent
with other texts of the same type: work on this particular dike lasted the usual 5
days, not 7 as assumed in the ed.pr. It should perhaps also be noted that the word
ἕως is conspicuously absent from the document at this point--one would expect, κβ
ἕως κς. The change offered in ln 6 is also good (beta is certainly preferable to gamma).
I wonder, however, if we should reckon with Verschleifung and print the entire name
on the line (thus, --> Θεαβέννεως). Having a lacuna before the matronymic in line
7 would not be surprising (cf., e.g., BGU 3.877, P.Fouad 60).
