Πολέμων Μεγχεῖ χαίρειν. ἐπεὶ
διέγνωσται τὸν ἐπιμελητὴν
παραγίνεσθαι ἅμʼ ἡμέραι τῆι ιε εἰς
Βερενικίδα τῆι δὲ ιϛ παράγειν
5τὴν κώμην εἰς Θεογογονίδα(*), στόχασαι
ὡς πάντα τὰ ἐνοφειλόμενα περὶ τὴν
κώμην ἐν μέτρωι ἔσται ὅπως
μὴ ἐπικατασχὼν αὐτὸν εἰς δα-
πάνας ἐμπέσῃς οὐκ ὀλίας(*).
