" The year after the consulship of our master Arcadius the eternal Augustus and Flavius Bauto the most illustrious, Epeiph 2. The board of members of the fullers'guild of the illustrious city of the Oxyrhynchites through us the hereafter entered secretaries Aurelius Achillon, son of Heron, and Aurelius Theon, son of Anesios, to Aurelius Ammonius, son of Pinus, of the same city, their fellow-craftsman, greetings. We have received from you the contribution for the chrysargon-trade tax due ffrom you and falling upon you for the 14th indiction and we have no claim upon you with respect to this . . ."
