APIS Translation (English)

"(2nd hand): District of the Bithynians of Ision, 20 sheep, 2 goats. (1st hand) To Aelius Sarapion, strategos of the Arsinoite nome, Herakleides division, and to Sarapion, royal scribe of the same division, from N. N., son of Horion, grandson of Heron, from the district of the Bithynians of Ision. I register for the present 8th year of Antoninus Caesar the lord twenty full-grown sheep of the flock of different kinds (and) two goats which I also registered in the same district in the past 7th year. I shall transfer them to whatever villages, pastures, and water-holes I choose in the nome . . ."
