APIS Translation (English)

The [thirteenth] year [of Tiberius Caesar Augustus], the nineteenth of the month Sebastos(?), [in Tebtynis] of the division of Polemon, in the Arsinoite nome. Marepsemis, son of Psyphis, about sixty years old, with a scar on the right side of his forehead, acknowledges to Onnophris, son of Psyphis, about twenty-five years old, with a scar on his right sole, that he has received from him the payment and wages in full for the three arourai, or as many as there may be, of the sacred land of the Tenain(?) estates, which he has tilled, near the same village, on the east, on the far side of the Chomenian canal and the sluice gate of Tesenepnoutis, in the present thirteenth year of Tiberius Caesar Augustus; and he has no claim in any matter whatsoever with regard to the work designated. The contract shall be valid.
