APIS Translation (English)
The seventh year of the Emperor Caesar Titus Aelius Hadrian Antoninus Augustus Pius, the 15th of Mesore, in the village of Theadelphia of the [l. 5] Themistes division of the Arsinoite nome. Horos, who has no legal father and whose mother is Aünchis, approximately forty-five years old, with a scar on the [l. 10] small finger of the left hand, acknowledges to Ekysis, son of Panesneus, approximately thirty-five years old, with a scar on the small finger of the left hand, to have received from him in full all [l. 15] what Ekysis ever owed to Horos in accordance with the written contract, and Horos, as well as those associated with him, does not and will not take any proceedings [l. 20] against Ekysis or those associated with him regarding [transactions during] the time from before and until the present day. I, Horos, who has no legal father and whose mother is Aünchis, have received [l. 25] from Ekysis all what he owed . . .
