APIS Translation (English)
To Diodoros, son of Hatres, and his son Hatres from Kastor, son of Pnepheros, Persian of the epigone. I wish to lease from you the olive fruits that are growing and ripe for the present sixth year of Trajan Caesar the lord, from the two arourai of olive grove belonging to you, Diodoros, near Kerkesoucha, and from the one aroura of olive grove which Hatres holds near Karanis in accordance with a prepaid lease from Ptolemaios, son of Kastor; the total rental being for the two arourai near Kerkesoucha one metretes of strained, new, pure, unadultered olive oil, and for the one aroura near Karanis one metretes, altogether two metretai, which I shall pay [after the harvest(?)] in the month Tybi, if you consent [to the lease. . . .] about . . . years old, with a scar on his left knee. [. . .]

To Flavius . . ., strategos of the . . . nome, from Apollonios, secretary of the metropolis. In reference to the letter written to you by his excellency Ulpius Serenianus, the archiereus, on the . . . of Phamenoth of the 14th year, concerning Tastoous daughter of Apollonios, who had promised to make an entreaty before him (about) 2 1/2 arourai near . . ., in answer to your inquiry, I report that Tastoous is in Alexandria.;The 14th year of Imperator Caesar Marcus Aurelius Antoninus Augustus Armeniacus Medicus Parthicus Germanicus Maximus.
