APIS Translation (English)
� with a scar on the right eyebrow, and (subscriber) of Orseus (is) Didumos son of Kronion, about 34 years old. (2nd hand) I, Pakebkis son of P� have lent for only the twelfth year the five arouras of crown land in two parcels, of which the first parcel is four arouras in the so-called Laarchikos gue, and the second parcel the remaining one aroura in the sixth gue, the rent for the total being, without seed, thirty seven and a half artabas of wheat (measured) with the four-choinix measure of the granary of the god, as stated above. Psenkebkis, his son, has written for him, because he does not know letters. (3rd hand) I, Orseus, son of Kronion, Perses of the Epigone, I have rented the five arouras of crown land for only the twelfth year, the rent for the total being thirty seven and a half artabas, the transport costs being the responsibility of me, as stated above. Didumos son of Kronion has written for him because he does not know letters. (4th hand) Registered through the record-office in Tebtunis. (On the verso) Lease of Pakebkis to Orseus, 5 arouras.
