Summary In this papyrus Harpaesis, cf. P. Theon. 14 & 25, asks for two credits, one for the building of some unknown thing, and one of 400 (!) drachmas for cutting the green fodder. Both sums of money were granted to him.

Support/Dimensions 1 papyrus ; 11.2 x 18.4 cm.
Condition Medium to dark-brown papyrus regularly cut on all sides except at the bottom. The papyrus has sustained serious damage, especially all the way along what appears to be a fold in the left side of the papyrus; there is, however also serious damage at the bottom of the papyrus. (TC)

APIS Translation (English)

"Harpaesis, foreman of the epoikion Adaiou, to Matreas, the most honored, greetings. If it seems good to you, send me then from the account of the Julii Theones, as payment for the building up of [ ] which is once more to be put in order, a hundred and twenty drachmas; and as payment for the cutting of the green fodder [ ] four hundred drachmas, for which I shall render an account, total 520 drachmas. Greetings, most honored. Year 20 of Antoninus Caesar the lord. Pachon 1. (2nd hd.) Give the 520 drachmas."
