APIS Translation (English)

The 3rd year of our lords Valerianus and Gallienus Augusti, the month of Choiak. Aurelius Bitharion, also called Eudaimon, high-priest, paid to the apaitetai (=collectors) of the western toparchy [l. 5] for the annona of 12,000 soldiers one hundred drachmas, totals 100 drachmas. At the estate of Ptolemais, through me, [l. 10] Thonis overseer and member of the town senate, it has been signed.
