1 To Flavius Dioskoros, son of Apollos, synteletes vac. Jakob, son of Abraham, priest, greetings. 2  I have and I owe you for the price of the rent for the harvest and irrigation one gold solidus minus two carats of the goldsmith standard, i.e. 1 s(olidus) minus 2 c(arats). 3  And I am ready to supply it to you on the second payment of taxes of the present thirteenth indiction. And for your security I have made this pittakion for you as above. Phaophi 21, 13th indiction.
