[- - -] not me nor my heirs either in a lawcourt whatsoever or outside a lawcourt [- - -] and for your security I have executed this document with my subscription followed in order by those of the customary witnesses and all my possessions, movable, immovable and live-stock are submitted to you as a pledge and with the force of a mortgage as though by decree of court, and being asked the formal question I agreed to everything that they were so, and so to give and do. Pachon(?) 26, sixth indiction. (2nd H.) I, Aurelius Menas, - - - executed this document and I agree as afore said. - - - (3rd H.) - - - bear witness to the security, having heard declarations from the person executing it. (4th H.)
