"BGU 2.487 should be expanded κατοικ(ικὰς) with arouras, not κάτοικ(ος) with Theano."
Rowlandson argues that a land category is always required before ἄρουραι. She also
notes that this text is not included in Canducci’s (1990, 1991) list of the 6475 Arsinoite
Hellenes/katoikoi and adds that Canducci "evidently already realised the correct interpretation."
