ὀχληρότατός ἐστιν καὶ καθʼ ἑκάσ-
την ἡμέραν βαροῦμαι διʼ αὐτὸν
καὶ λείαν(*) τῷ πράγματι καταξύο-
5μαι. ἐὰν δέῃ τῷ ἀδελφῶι τῆς μη-
τρὸ[ς] τῶν υἱῶν Ἀχιλλᾶ δοθῆναι
σπο[ν]δάριον καλῶς ποιήσεις δοὺς
λ̣α̣[βὼ]ν̣(*) παρὰ Σαραπίωνος ἐκ τοῦ
ἐ[μοῦ] λόγου. μέμνη[σ]ο τοῦ νυ[κ-]
10τ[ελίου] Ἴσιδος τοῦ ἐν τῶι Σαρα-

(Translation: from P.Oxy. 3) The voyage past the Antaeopolite nome is most troublesome; every day I am burdened on account of it and I am extremely worn out with the matter. If a gratuity must be given to the brother of the mother of Achillas’ sons, please get some lotus (?) for him from Sarapion at my expense. Remember the night-festival of Isis at the Serapeum.
