- 2016-12-22T14:36:56-05:00 [james.cowey]: Finalized - Ready. I checked the image and decided to underdot the second alpha.
- 2016-12-15T02:32:52-05:00 [pheilpor]: Vote - AcceptText - Accept. For the first alpha, compare the one in ἐλαίου (l. 18);
third letter is rather χ than λ: so, I think this reading is nearly certain, even
if indeed the second alpha could be dotted (I *think* I can see it as a "Hackenalpha"
in superscript to mark the abbreviation, as suggested below by Nikos Litinas, so even
the underdot might not be necessary).
- 2016-12-12T11:21:21-05:00 [joshuad.sosin]: Vote - AcceptText - Accept. The new reading at lin 13 (λαχά(νου)) is plausible (I
would not say certain), based on the digital image (http://quod.lib.umich.edu/cgi/i/image/api/image/apis/X-3439/C1_94R.TIF/full/large/0/native.jpg);
the first alpha is perhaps similar to the first alpha in ῥαφακαι (lin9). The second
alpha is (to my eye) not sufficiently clear to escape a dot; for the whole, I'd urge
(λαχά̣(νου))(?) , i.e. underdot the first alpha and put a (?) on the lem.
- 2012-08-09T12:30:00.941-04:00 [nikos]: correction: l. 13 λελε̣( ) -> λαχά(νου). The last letter α is superscript.
- 2012-08-09T10:37:17-04:00 [james.cowey]: Vote - Return-Straight-to-Sender - Sending back to let you look at this again.
- 2012-07-09T12:30:07.629-04:00 [nikos]: JUST A CORRECTION I PROPOSE: P.Corn. 35 is an account of food, dated to the third
century A.D. In l. 13 the strange reading λελε̣( ) should be read as λαχά(νου). The
last letter is superscript. For the image see: http://quod.lib.umich.edu/a/apis/x-3439/c1_94r.tif
